About the Instructor:
I was born in San Francisco, California, but have lived almost my entire life in Maryland. I grew up in Gaithersburg where I lived with my parents and my two brothers (one of whom- Michael- also teachers here at Pallotti). In 1996 I graduated from Our Lady of Good Counsel High School which at that time was still located in Wheaton. From 1996-2000 I attended Loyola College in Maryland. While there I was a member of the cross country team and completed a double major in Politcal Science and Theology. I also met my future wife Erin whom I married in the summer of 2000. From 2000-2002 I studied at the Catholic University of America where I earned a master's degree in Religious Education and Catechetics. Since 2002 I have taught here at St. Vincent Pallotti where I currently chair the religion department. In addition to my teaching responsibilities I also help coach the cross country and wrestling teams, moderate the guitar club, help with campus ministry events and retreats, and serve on Pallotti's Honor Commitee. I have two children: Isabel (3) and Caleb (1). In my free time I love to run, read, sing and play guitar.
