AP Biology:   This course is designed to prepare students for the AP Biology exam, and covers the equivalent of one full year of college level general biology. The course builds on concepts learned in biology and chemistry. The class entails a strong laboratory component, and is intended for students who have demonstrated a willingness to commit considerable time to studying and completing assignments independently. Students are required to take the AP Exam at the end of the course, and are responsible for the fee charged by the College Board.

Honors Chemistry:   This course will encompass all of the components noted in Chemistry I, and is intended to prepare the students for college level chemistry.  The students will focus on a variety of subjects, such as the structure of atoms, matter, chemical reactions, and energy-matter interactions.  There is a greater emphasis on laboratory investigation and concept connections.  The students should have a strong math and science foundation, as integration of the two is greatly emphasized within this course.

Honors Conceptual Physics:  This course will encompass all of the elements of the traditional class; however, it is designed for a more in-depth study of the concepts of physics and chemistry.  The students will focus on a variety of subjects, such as mechanics, energy, matter, thermodynamics, electricity, and magnetism.  There will be various laboratory investigations that aim to incorporate a greater integration of algebra skills.  This course prepares students for honors level chemistry.
